6th Doyin Mahmoud Lecture holds June 24
The 6th Annual Public
Lecture in honour of the pioneer Head of the Department of Mass
Communication, University of Ilorin, the late Mr. Doyin Mahmoud, holds
this Saturday (June 24, 2017)
Organised by the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMCOS), University of Ilorin, the Public Lecture will hold at the Faculty of Communication and Information Science Lecture Theatre beginning from 10.00a.m.
According to a statement made available to Unilorin Bulletin, the Guest Speaker will be Mr. Bayo Atoyebi, a former Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, who will be speaking on the theme: “Pains and gains in Digitization”.
The occasion will also feature the launch of the Association's annual magazine, The Lens as well as the inauguration of the alumni body of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin.
Members of the University Community and the general public are cordially invited.
